World War Zero is a first person shooter. The action takes place in the alternate 1960s. World War I did not end in 1918. On the contrary, it continues fifty years later. Allied forces fight the Russo-Mongolian Empire, ruled by Baron Nikolai Alexandrovich von Ugenberg. He suppressed the Bolshevik revolution in the early 1920s. The game's protagonist, Lieutenant James Anderson, and his special forces unit are sent into enemy territory to prevent the empire from creating a devastating nuclear weapon that could completely turn the tide of the conflict. The campaign consists of sixteen missions, during which it is necessary to visit different locations and perform various tasks. Unique in that the game is based on several historical eras. On the one hand, there are trenches and chlorine gas (as in World War I), on the other hand, there are weapons typical of World War II. There are also modern inventions: helicopters, wireless communication, spy satellites. It is worth adding, the ward is not particularly strong and can die quickly, especially since the enemies are better armed. Original version is not much different from later additions. The game has improved graphics, cleverly designed map. The arsenal contains all sorts of weapons, from machine guns to rocket launchers. It is worth noting that there is a quick save feature, various clips are available, third-person view is activated. In addition to the campaign, the game is available multiplayer for four people.
