When The Past Was Around is a love adventure game that teaches you how to let people go and move on. You together with the characters will go through all the happy and sad moments of their lives. The game is by Brigitte Renee, creator of such indie projects as A Raven Monologue and She & The Light Bearer.
The story centers on a girl named Eda. She is 23 years old, and like all people at that age, she is lost and in search of herself. One day she meets Owl and falls madly in love with him. He helps her discover herself and light a fire in her heart. However, like all such stories, the good fortune did not last long.
The gameplay of When The Past Was Around is based on the fact that you will be going through a series of rooms that at first glance are not connected to each other. They will act as a kind of memories of the main character. Each chapter will have its own riddles and puzzles. Solve them, will lift the veil of mystery Owl. The girl, like the player himself, will learn more and more different details about him. Nevertheless, this tragic story will give the girl a chance to get to know her own self better.
