Viking Warrior is a well-drawn, grim third-person RPG inspired by the Dark Souls universe. In a world where magic rules, there will be weak-spirited villains corrupted by its influence. The protagonist can cast spells, wield edged weapons, and use a bow to deal with packs of supercomplicated enemies and giant bosses. The adventures of a Viking ancestor lead him down confusing paths from one giant monster to the next through five hardcore levels with beautiful scenery and vicious inhabitants. Often the best strategy on Viking Warrior locations is ignoring enemy provocations or shooting particularly obtrusive characters with standard or explosive arrows.

As a lancer, the hero moves pretty fast, and overall control mechanics are decently developed, which, unfortunately, can not be said about the story. However, if you consider the original source that the developer of this project has inherited, you can skip the nagging about the lack of a story component. The main problem lies in the unbalanced complexity of passing (honest fights here is shaped mockery of the player) and the monotony of gameplay. The music here is poor, and of the fun bits - a cheater's ability to quickly complete the adventure without bothering to take out enemies, and without wasting precious arrows.
