Download The Forgotten: It Begins

The Forgotten: It Begins is a quest. The game uses a first-person perspective. The camera can be rotated 360 degrees. The writers used amnesia as a plot twist. One day the hero loses his memory. Soon he found a letter from Richard Halliburton. In it, the author names the protagonist as his friend and asks him to help him find a certain Amelia Earhart.

The main story isn't finished here. The developers planned to divide their creation into episodes and wanted to release as many as 7 parts. However, the creators only had time to release one game. Development on all of the sequels was discontinued. The Forgotten: It Begins takes place in 1930s New Orleans. The main character explores locations, looking for items, applies them to the right objects, solves problems of logic or attention. It also collects magic cards. These are the artifacts that the High Ones left behind. According to the local lore, this is the name of the ancient race that inhabited the Earth before humans. Because of the cataclysm, these creatures went to another dimension, but began to affect humanity from there. Those who use their remaining technology are called collectors in this world.

The movement through the locations is implemented in the traditional way for the adventure games of those years. There is no movement animation, nor is the ability to walk freely in any direction. Instead, the hero instantly teleports between screens. Some of them are completely static.
