The mansion of Henry Stauff has been abandoned for years and is the subject of eerie legends among the locals. Its owner was once a famous craftsman who created unique toys and puzzles for children, but the house itself was his main creation. Once guests were invited to a gala evening by the owner, they were invited to solve riddles, but none of the guests came back, they all disappeared without a trace in the ghostly traps of the mansion. There were six people invited to dinner...But there was a seventh guest, whose mystery you will discover in a mystical game of!

Play dangerous chess, compose a portrait puzzle, repeat a spooky piano tune after a ghost, search for items, and complete tasks that determine whether you live to see the morning or join the spirits of guests trapped forever in the mad genius's sinister castle. You will have to explore 22 rooms of the mansion and in each of them to solve a spooky puzzle, and between passages you will be offered video clips with live actors, revealing the mystical secrets of the house and its owner, as well as dramatic stories of missing guests.

The 25th anniversary edition is scaled down for high resolution screens, but for fans of the classics the retro settings are available: the original graphics, music and even the controls. Fans of the old edition will enjoy an audio library with 36 soundtracks, an archive with 19 deleted scenes and a mystery 7th guest novel, as well as 104 pages of the original script.
