Star control 1 and 2 is the first and second part, where the player enters a vast universe to explore the environment and participate in space adventures. The user will command the Vindicator starship. This ship undergoes countless upgrades, allows you to explore distant worlds and star systems. On the journey, the user will meet alien races, wage war and improve their abilities.
Star control 1 begins as humanity is threatened by. It can be wiped off the face of the galactic map due to aggressive combat units of the extraterrestrial Ur-Quan race. A hierarchical civilization has become an evil empire, attacking former allies and neighbors in order to conquer territory and become rulers of the universe. In the 27th century, the player will need to command the Free Star Alliance fleet to defeat the Ur-Quan.
In Star control 2 the main character wakes up in an empty spaceship and then sets off to roam the immense territories. There is no global conflict in the second part. As you progress, more upgrades to the ship, recruitment, and partners are unlocked. Vehicles consist of numerous modules. Upgrades help you engage in battles with stronger opponents, become a pirate, or enter deadly space zones.
