Stalker: clear Skies - continuation continues the tradition of the original, and adds a new storyline, closely related to it. The creators of the addon brought the atmosphere of gloom, danger and despair to their brainchild, adding additional missions, locations, and a freefly.

The action takes place after the end of the main story of the original Stalker. The global mod has its share of hardcore, and some characters show a completely different side. Here, all events and actions have their consequences, so the fate of the protagonist decides the player. The storyline has contained the events of 2011 - 2012. It all began in September, when a mercenary nicknamed Scar takes on a team of environmental scientists to lead them through dangerous areas of the Zone. Walking through the swamps, a sudden ejection begins, which causes the scientists to die. After losing consciousness, Scar finds himself at the base of clear Skies, whose soldiers found him.

The game features three new locations with fog, rain and atmospheric weather. The authors of the mod took care of the vehicles that can use the hero. Realistic weapons have also been added, but there are considerably fewer exoskeletons. The Freedom and Duty factions now have different objectives, and the military has been given the opportunity to do a complete cleanup of territories such as the cordon and the Junkyard.
