Download Recettear: An Item Shops Tale

Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale is an economic simulator with Action/RPG elements. Besides the fact that this game is really unique for its time, it has a gameplay that drags you for many hours. In terms of graphics, a very interesting attempt to mix 2D and 3D animation. This may be one of the few examples where such a mixture of styles makes the game memorable and unique.

The essence of Reccetear is completely based on the story. You (Reset Lemongrass) have to run your store to pay off a debt to your fairy companion, Tie. So the player has to walk through randomly generated dungeons, collect loot, improve your store and perform a variety of quests pumping your heroine.

The control system at first is very unintuitive and needs adjustment, but literally after a couple of hours of play you become a master of this simple business.

Game features:- Interesting basic story.- Various modes, available after the first playthrough.- Pretty simple but cute graphics.- The user can expand, customize and decorate their store as they level up.- Dungeon Exploration.- Many different items that can be found and sold.- Great soundtrack.

If you like Japanese animated, indie-RPG with an economic component, it's worth a try.
