KOJOUJI invites the player to plunge into an atmosphere of agonizing horror on an abandoned futuristic factory. This indie project is a first-person horror puzzle game in a dystopian alien sci-fi setting.

The story is about a corporation that hires a detective to look for a factory worker who disappeared under strange circumstances. The story is told from the perspective of a detective who goes to the worker's workplace. A character tries to find some clues with which to begin an investigation. The protagonist discovers that there is almost nothing left of the employee's room, and the entire space is filled with poisonous smoke. As the detective makes his way through the dead factory, he discovers the workers aren't the only inhabitants of the place, and that the factory itself hides dozens of unpleasant and disturbing secrets.

Explore the plant's corridors and rooms, dive into the dungeon with a flashlight and a gas mask to uncover what the local employees are up against. There will be a total of three types of enemies in KOJOUJI, in addition to fear, darkness and bad batteries: Slow Monster, a worm-like creature that stalks the protagonist in an attempt to devour him; Agile Monster, a humanoid creature that reacts to sounds, steps, and kills in one shot; Small Monster, groups of small worms that try to covertly surround the protagonist and jump on him.
