Hyper Light Drifter is a multiplatform 2D action-RPG in which the player will take on the role of a Vagabond who travels in search of a cure for a deadly disease. The project is made in the spirit of the classic eight and sixteen bit masterpieces.

The action unfolds in a fading world, built and trying to hold on to the wreckage of a long-forgotten civilization. The plot of the game is given in the original format - in Hyper Light Drifter there are no explanatory texts, any figures, the rare dialogues are given in the form of short comics, and the confusing symbols on the monoliths have a meaning that can only be understood if you first decipher and translate them. The player's independence and free play mode, due to the absence of hints as such, allow you to have more fun exploring a world filled with hiding places and secret locations.

But through new territories you sometimes have to fight your way through hordes of enemies. The standard armament of the character is an energy sword, but as the game progresses it becomes possible to buy new items from merchants, improve existing equipment, or find artifacts. Melancholic atmosphere of the game is created thanks to the harmonious color scheme and unforgettable soundtrack.
