Dragon Age 2 is a sequel to the iconic role-playing game, with events unfolding over 8 years, covering the beginning of the events of the previous installment and continuing its story after the finale.

The main character in the game is Hawk (gender available to choose), trying to escape from Mora. He and his family flee from Lothering to the Free Marque. There he enlists as a Defender of Kirkwall.

The story is told by the dwarf Warrick, a friend of the protagonist who is being interrogated by the Truth Seeker cassandra. He tells the story of how Hawk abolished slavery, overthrew the Kunari, and resolved the conflict between the Templars and the mages.

The player has three playable classes to choose from: warrior, mage, or brigand. By choosing a warrior, the hero will not be able to wear magic clothes or use a bow if you do not pump the necessary parameters.

Specializations are divided into several types:

• Warrior - Templar, Berserker and Ripper;
• The Mage is a Spiritual Healer, a Mage of the Blood or the Force;
• Outlaw - Assassin, Duelist and Shadow.

You can take two more characters to the party. Some heroes can be skipped if you don't take the appropriate quests or meet certain conditions.

• Merrill - an elf and blood mage who is an apprentice of Maretari;
• Sebastian Vael - an archer of noble lineage who avenges his family;
• Tallis - a mysterious elf who acts as an assassin and brigand.

Dragon Age 2 boasts a reworking of the battle system, with an emphasis on spectacle and action, as well as a completely new visual style and design, giving the game a unique flavor in the entire fantasy genre.
