Dex is a 2D side-scroller RPG that has been fundraising for a Kickstarter release. The plot will tell the story of a young girl, Dex, who will learn more and more details about her importance to the rebel society.

One day, quite ordinary, the main character is attacked by assassins. As it turns out later, they were sent by the evil corporations that control the town of Harbor Prime, and call themselves "The complex". With the help of the kind and brave hacker Reikast, Dex survives and finds himself in his safe house, one of the few safe places in the current situation.

A new friend of the protagonist reveals the course of the plot. It turns out that Dex is part Keter. This is one of the many experimental inventions of the complex, artificial intelligence. Project Keter was shut down years ago as control of the synthetic mind was lost. Because of all this, it is the protagonist who is the main force of the rebels, who do not agree with the giant corporations' seizure of power.

Gameplay focuses on non-linear exploration of the world with elements of role-playing adventure, such as having NPS giving tasks to Dex. Each quest does not have a single ending and the gamer is prompted to choose how to complete the quest. One more invariable element of RPG is pumping. Experience points are given for killing enemies and completing quests. For them you can pump the character's skills, say, a branch of hand-to-hand combat, firearms, hacking and lockpicking skills.
