The leaders of the Soviet Union were disillusioned with world progress, so they decided to travel far back in time to rid the world of World War II, to renew the greatness of Mother Russia, to make the power invincible in principle, not in word. But at the moment of time travel, a glitch occurs, and the machine makes an alternate universe, where the Alliance and the Japanese have also been exiled. In command & conquer: Red Alert 3 will take us back to the glory days of the USSR.

The Soviet Union did not disintegrate at all, so it became easier to prevent the World War. Three rivals are at war with each other in an interesting campaign where each country has to develop, build a base, learn technology, mine resources, and then hire units to go conquer the nearest rival.

The Soviet Union's plan is to go back in time and kill Albert Einstein. Russian scientists think that by killing this man, the world will not have the powerful weaponry that broke the Soviet Union.

A former lieutenant general kills Albert Einstein with a simple handshake - the latter dies due to a breach of temporal consilium, and events in the alternate universe completely change: The USSR takes over territory in western Europe, nearly destroys NATO, not agreeing to concessions. Suddenly you are attacked by the Empire of the Rising Sun.

Everything that is more pleasant for the players was taken from the last part: constant improvements, fast battles and absence of the so-called "sandbox" in the strategy. The player will have to combine several types of units to form an invincible strategy. This tactic works, unlike command & conquer: Red Alert 2.

Also the countries will have their own characteristics.

- USSR. Very weak infantry, but used as a cheap force. Effective in large numbers;

- Alliance. High Tech Tree of the West. Has a freeze that can destroy buildings and units with a single shot. Has a strong aviation;

- Japan. There are Transformers. Strongest Fleet.
